🏚 About the project
On February 24, 2022, a full-scale war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine began. This has already led to thousands of victims among the peaceful civilian population, massive internal displacement and departure of millions of its residents outside of Ukraine, and devastating destruction of housing.
The hero city of Irpin is one of those settlements in the Kyiv region that suffered the greatest destruction of the residential sector as a result of Russian shelling. During a month of fierce fighting, 70% of the city was damaged.
Unfortunately, the building located at the address: Ukraine, Kyiv region, Irpin, str. Lysenko 14G was no exception, and suffered quite significant damage. It was bombed with mines and grenades of various calibers, it burned. There was no roof, no windows, no communications. The building was under the occupation of the Russian army for almost a month, they placed their headquarters in it, looted and destroyed the property and homes of civilians. Currently, 40 families – more than a hundred residents, of which 30 children have been looking for shelter all over Ukraine and all over the world since the end of February.

🏚 About the project
The residents of the building were left without a roof and without means of livelihood! There are no ten apartments in the building at all, they were completely destroyed, burned to the ground. There is nothing left in these families. They have nowhere to live.

To restore the roof, the residents of the building need building materials, namely wood:

✔ beam 75*100=150 cubic meters = 1.13 cubic meters

Three Ukrainian activists were killed
Death did not miss our residential complex, three Ukrainian activists who fought for our freedom to the last were killed.
One of the victims of the Russian occupiers was the famous boxer and children’s coach Oleksiy Dzhunkovsky.
The Boxing Federation of Ukraine reported that the Russians shot Dzhunkovsky right in the boxing hall.
It is known that the murder of the coach happened just before the complete liberation of Irpen by the Ukrainian army, which became known on March 28, 2022.
Oleksiy Dzhunkovskii is a four-time medalist of the world championships among military personnel. He also took part in matches between Ukraine – Russia, Ukraine – USA, Ukraine – Cuba. In recent years, he has successfully worked as a coach at the youth level.

The residents of the building urgently need to resolve the issue of covering the roof of the building and rebuilding the fifth and partially damaged fourth floors or they will finally lose everything. About five million hryvnias ($136,000.00) are needed to completely restore the life of the building, which is not an affordable amount for the residents of the building. Despite this, the residents of the building do not give up and have a great desire to rebuild the house in order to return home as soon as possible. The residents of the building dismantled the burnt roof with their own hands, removed the garbage and covered the fifth floor with awnings in order to at least somehow protect the apartments and the building from damage due to rainfall.
